You sure know how to celebrate life’s moments, Nicole. I especially appreciate how you mark milestones of the changes you’ve made and how they’ve turned out so far. Janna Maron recently wrote about her birthday as a time for reflection on the last “turn around the sun.” I’m going to try it for the equinoxes and solstices.
Thank you, Marilyn. I like that: marking the milestones. I do think this newsletter is as much for me as for my readership, to look back and see that "ah, yes, I did actually make progress!"
Welcome back, Nicole. Yours was the very first on-line writing workshops I ever attended. Our mutual friend J.J. pointed the way. You helped me to realize that maybe I do have something worthy to say. And, BTW, I too made it into the Peregrine Anthology addressing care takers and care taking. If not for you, I'd never even have known about AWA and the wonderful teaching facilitators the have on board.
I loved reading this, Nicole. You did so much while you were here. I'm sure you inspire your followers.
Thank you, Joey. A highlight was definitely leading the AWA workshop—in person!

So wonderful to hear this, Karen! Grinning widely.
